Something has happened, and now when I open up a message the new window is not maximized. I cannot find a way to tell OE that I want new windows maximized. Please help. Thanks.

What version of windows are you using?

Are you maximizing the window with the maximize button, or are you dragging the corner of the window until it is the desired size?

In OS earlier then XP maximizing a window with the maximize button was a temporary setting. If you want the window size to be retained you need to drag the window until it is the desired size.

To do this in OE, open a message and then drag the message window to the upper left-hand corner of the screen and release. Now click and drag the lower right-hand corner of the message window until the window is the desired size and release. Then close the message window and reopen it. The message window should have retained it's size.
