My daughter has forgotten her pw and there is only her admin acct and a guest acct.

I know from reading past threads that the only advice you can give in these cases is to reinstall Windows. However I would like to first, if possible, backup her user data.

Her machine is accessible on my LAN but I can't get to her documents and settings folder since I lack permission.

Is there any way I can copy her user data onto my lan before doing a fresh install?

Machine's running XP home edition and I don't see a security tab on properties, at least when viewing from windows explorer on my machine over the network.

Looks like she will have to lose everything on her C partition.
