Sorry if this has been posted already, I couldn't find it in my search.
I have Nero 7 Ultra edition. Windows XP Home edition SP2

I always use a CDRW and use Nero to burn to CD. What's the difference between doing that, and drag/drop or cut/paste? Once I'm done with the info on CDRW, I erase and format for the next time.

I assume you are speaking of musical files.

You cant do a drag/drop, copy/paste to a normal CD (or CDRW) unless
it has been formatted to appear as a floppy disk.
While you can play those files on your PC, i dont know of a cdplayer that
will play one formatted as a floppy disk (never tried it).

Some cdplayers will play both a CD and a CDRW, some wont.

Sorry, it is pictures I'm talking about. Pictures that have been downloaded from digital camera (there is a slot on PC to put SD card). I erase, formatte CDRW disk, then burn pics to CDRW, and take CD to store for processing.

Nero has a program called InCD that you need to 'drag and drop' files onto a CD/rw. This program is used to 'format' the cd and also is needed to access the CDs. InCD used to be a separate download in version 6 (and previous versions), I don't have version 7 so I'm not sure if it's included or you have to download it. Check the Nero website for information (there should also be a manual for InCD). HTH

I have InCD. It is included in the download of Nero 7 but best installed after installing the rest of Nero 7 features .
    Thanks for the info.
