    Hi Guys

Im getting an error on my clients computer and hoping you guys can help as soon as possible

The error reads on a BSOD

IO SYSTEM VERIFICATION ERROR IN VET-REC.SYS (WDM DRIVER ERROR 224) [VET-REC.SYS+10DC AT F85500DC]

Another forum told me to run verifier.exe because her computer was restarting without warning and when i did this, it asked me to restart and now her computer is not even booting up. I try to go into safe mode or last known good configuation by pressing f8 but as soon it goes to the f8 options, it wont let me go to safe mode or last known good configuation because i press up and down and nothing happens.

    Please help asap!

VET-REC.SYS is a part of Etrust Antivirus.

I'd suggest you do a repair install: Boot from the WinXP CD, and proceed with installing WinXP.

Do not choose the option to repair an XP installation using Recovery Console when prompted, choose the option to To set up Windows XP now press ENTER

After more files have been copied, you'll get another selection screen where you should select the current XP installation, & the option To Repair the selected Windows XP installation, press R.
