From time to time I travel with a laptop with social security numbers on it. With the recent fall-out from stolen laptops, I find myself in need of some sort of encryption method to bring down the anxiety level. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Margot

I've seen that, but is it really secure?

I guess most types of encryption can be broken by specialists - anything and everything can be hacked - eventually.

How secure is Windows XP Pro encryption - I can't answer that, but worth noting from the article I posted ....
