Task Manager missing tabs?

Can somebody Help Me!

i am a novice user !
when i open the task manager I do not see the classic view of the programs running, but the full process tree and no tabs at the top to see other views, it has not always been like this and i will say is a pain!

can anybody suggest anything

Click view, select columns and pick the columns that you want.

 

thanks for your help but i dont have any tabs to click in!

i cannot left click anything and my only options is to select one of the running processes and i can right click that ! the only way to close the box is ALT_F4
any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
