snookie28--I suspect the message is "Windows or Internet Explorer has encountered a problem" . This is a normal message telling you that the PC has problem. However just the fact that you had an error message gives you and us no information about what the problem is.

The message should offer you an opportunity to send a Report to MS. On either this window or the next window, you should see a link (like "Click Here" or "More Information "). Click on that and try to copy for posting here.
But even more valuable is the information in Event Viewer. Control Panel|Adminstrative Tools|Event Viewer|System. Click on red ball error items which are time stamped at the time the problem occurred. What do you learn? Can you copy that? Click also on the go.microsoft link. That may tell you how to solve the problem.

    Windows error message

Thank you Jim for your reply.
I have opened the link....there Is always a differant reason for the error message and most of the time I do tell Microsoft about It by clicking on the url.
I will try to copy, past next time so that I can put that In a post....till then..thanks so much for your help:)

snookie28--You are welcome. As mentioned, the Event Viewer error messages are even more helpful and the go.microsoft.com link you will be offered there might even have a fix.
