I have Windows XP on my computer, and I just installed PC-cillin 2006 on my computer. When I am not on the internet a nuisance screen pops up and states "You (or a program) have requested information from pcc14-p.activeupdate.trendmicro.com. Which internet connection do you want to use?" How do I stop this nuisance screen from popping up? Thank you very much.

open pcillon, general>updates>autoupdates and change "hrs to update" to 12/24 etc. Or change to manual by unchecking autoupdates (make sure you are diligent about updating though) Hope this helps.

To TJ-IT: Thank you for your message. In order for me to change the numbers, I have to check "automatically check for updates ". I want to manually update. Please advise. Thank you.

For manual updates, just remove the checkmark in "autoupdates" and to update go to the "manual" tab and click update now. DON'T FORGET to update, sorry for the delay in responding, been working doubles for few days :(
