I have a Epson Stylus C84 printer. I have just bought a new black ink cartridge. I try to print but it prints out in pink, so I set it to print only with black ink but blank sheets go through. Can anyone help me? Thanks for any help.

Have you run the nozzle check and nozzle cleaning - sounds like blocked jets to me.

That was the first thing i tried. The nozzle check came out with pink lines so i did the head cleaning. It still prints out in pink. I tried this procedure a dozen times and it still prints out in pink. I have also tired using another method to clean the head. I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol to see if this would work but it did not and now it is printing in yellow.

Sure sign that you have blocked nozzles - can be a real PITA.

You could try uninstalling the printer software, rebooting and reinstalling the printer and software. but I doubt it would help any.
