simple file sharing

    what is simple file sharing for?

    i have 3 computers all on the same workgroup. if i disable SFS is that a good thing or a bad thing?

    i was thinking of disabling so that i could work with the NTFS security permissions. It's good practise for working in a domain.

    ...so in other words...Simple File sharing is for basic users? (ie. basic security)

    Correct - in XP Pro you have more options.
