I need to put a temporary logon password on my XP. "Temporary," because it's a nuisance to have it when I don't need it. I know how to put a password on, but how do I remove it (not change it --- REMOVE it) when I no longer need it?
    Anyone out there know?

See here - To remove the password from the user account. Don't think this will work if you run as Administrator, but you will find out if it does :)

Otherwise I guess you will need to change the password to a blank.
