I have read through all the other posts on this issue but none have helped my issue.

I am getting "Limited or no connectivity" error between my two networked computers. The internet is working fine on the host computer. My internet runs via USB between cable modem & computer.

No matter what Windows patch I install I still am having the same issue.

Please help as I need the secondary computer to access the internet as it always has before via the host computers sharing of the internet connection.

I have been there and done that. And was not happy with it.

Cure was to Install a Router and then set each machine to connect to the internet individually through it. You can still share other things if you wish. I myself do not have much need for sharing as each machine is set up with pretty much the same software. And my Wife and I spend many great hours playing games via the LAN.

Also with the Router you will not need to depend on just one machine for anything.

As BillyBob says, a router is the best solution for your arrangement (more than one PC wanting to share a single internet connection).

However, to get you over the current problem you need a cross over network cable. Have a look at this guide to setting up a pair of PC to connect via a crossover cable.
