A friend of mine called me today and said she was having trouble sending attachments on Outlook Express. She said the document she wanted to attach is on her C Drive, but her C Drive is not showing up when she goes to search for the attachment on Outlook Express. I haven't looked at her computer yet, but I couldn't think of anything that would be causing this problem of the top of my head. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

blkshrk81--I do not know your friend's degree of PC savvy, so forgive me if I state the obvious.
When you are writing a New Message in OE and click Attach (from the toolbar) you get a window that says Insert Attachment and there is a "Look In" line. To the right of that line is a down arrow. Click on that should show a directory tree of sources for the attachment. My Computer should be one of the offerings. If Local Disk [C] does not appear in the list, click on My Computer. Now the "Local Disk" C Drive should be shown. Clicking it and the various options that should appear will allow navigation to the folder and then file desired.
If you are saying C Drive does not appear in the down arrow list (even after clicking My Computer), what does appear? Any other drives?

If nothing showing, perhaps a Repair of IE and OE will be required.

(OE and IE are closely associated, so the repair is for both/either.)
