Links in Internet Explorer

I like to keep the top "bars" as clean as possible.

So, I use the F11 key to show only one bar.

And, I have added "links" to that bar so all I have showing is the back and forward arrows, refresh icon, home icon, links area, and address area, and the microsoft logo on the far right with the minimize etc. buttons.

Something corrupted my links, and now I cannot put the buttons back on the links area.

Will someone tell me how to do this again?

 

judy--Hope I have understood the problem.
Right click on a blank spot on the toolbar. You should be offered the names of several items you can put on the toolbar (such as Links). (Alternatively you can get the same list by clicking IE View|Toolbars). Click on the ones you want so a checkmark is shown.
If you want others, click Customize which will show in the left panel the items you can move to the right panel, which items then should appear on the toolbar.
Specific to Links, it is a folder in the Favorites list. You can access whatever shortcuts are in the Links folder by clicking Links on the Toolbar. And you can add items to the Links folder in Favorites.

Now, how to clean up my Explorer Directory. No, just kidding. I will be able to do that.
