    Hey Tom,
    - Much more secure. NTFS partitions cannot be "seen" or accessed by an OS on a FAT partition.
    - XP and Win2k run a little faster under FAT32, however, if you have 128 MB RAM or more, there's no noticable increase in performance.
    - NTFS is a little tricky to get rid of, if you want to change the partition into a FAT32.
    - Windows2000 or XP w/ NTFS = Much more stable system than with a FAT partition.
    - NTFS handles large partition size more easily than FAT partitions. Please note that FAT16 partitions have a 2.0 gig maximum size for a single partition.

If anyone else reads this post, please feel free to add more to this list, correct what I've said, or just comment on it.. :)

I found that I liked NTFS but with a dual boot system, when in w98se it didn't see the ntfs partition and chg the drive letters and was annoying problem for me so I chg back to fat32 using PM.
