    Hi,
We have 4 identical Dell PCs here at the office. Each has a copy of Outlook 2000 installed. As copies work fine except for one of my coworkers'. Basically, it refuses to send attachments.

Here's some background info though. This coworkers old PC also refused to send attachments, but then we switched over to a new PC and a new install of Outlook and we tested it to be working. However, it seems that after we imported all his old .pst files the attachments began acting up again.

Oddly enough, e-mailing files through other Office Applications such as Word works fine but not Outlook.

Any idea what could've happened here?

    Thanks,
    Justin

What "happens" when you attempt to send attachments?

The e-mail seems to send normally, Norton also scans the file. However, on the recieving end the e-mail appears with no attachment.

I should also include that Outlook Express can send the attachments no problem.

Have you looked through and compared the Outlook security settings between the problem pc and one that works?

Is there a webmail interface for the e-mail account. See if you get the attachments there.

I don't believe there is. I tried webmail.ourcompany.com and www.ourcompany.com/webmail and didn't get any login screens. I'll try to find out for sure though.

I just used my coworkers login info as the account in my copy of Outlook. The attachments send fine this way, so it must be a problem with his version.
