I use the Address bar for my most common used sights and the Ctrl+O or Open for sights browsing. I would like to know if there is a way to print, edit or copy my address bar. There are times I’d like to take one off and also be able to copy and paste the ones I have back in case they all get deleted, which has happened to me in running certain cleanup programs.
    Thanks
    Baldy

One way to do it would be to go to each site in your Address Bar and once each page has loaded, press [Ctrl-D] to add it to your Favorites, (i.e., bookmark it). You should then have them all listed under "Favorites" at the top of Internet Explorer ... and your history-eraser type programs should now leave them alone.

    Address Bar Edit

Thanks, but I already have them book marked, but in thier catagory. Also keep a copy of most in word file. I was hoping someone knew where they were kept and how I could edit them there.

Baldy--The sites you have most recently typed into the Address bar are stored in your Registry.
Navigate to HKey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer\Typed URLs. Right click on TypedURLs|Export.
To Copy: Now you will have created a .reg file in the location you directed it be sent. That .reg file can be opened (without executing it) by right clicking on the .reg file|Edit. You have just opened a .txt file that can copied and/or printed.
To Delete an individual URL :
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\\Internet Explorer\left click on TypedURLs. In the right panel, right click on the entry you want to delete|Delete.
Normally I would recommend you back up the Registry Key you are working with, before making changes, but in the "To Copy" procedure, you have made the backup.

Baldy--Thanks for posting back. You are most welcome!
P.S. If a certain URL is especially important to you, make a Favorite out of it.

    Searching Address Book

this is my first time on this Site, so please forgive me for being obtrusive.
I have just waisted 20 minutes , trying to find a way to Post a New Topic.
And I can't work out how to do that in this site.
So I thought I might get some help here.
I am using Windows Address Book in Windows XP Pro and my Address Book is Quite Large, Over 700 listings.
Often when I have to Search for someone in my address book I find it hard to See the Results of my Search , because it is Displayed in Normal Colour.
So what I would like to see is the Result of My Search Displayed in a Highlighted Colour that would Show Up Easily.
Can someone Please tell me how to do this.

Sparks79--Are you talking about the Outlook Express Address Book? (I am not aware of a Windows Address Book.)
When I click "Find People" on the OE Address Book's Toolbar and then enter the person's name (or other criteria), I get the results in black type on a white background. (Is that what you mean by "Normal Colour "?) It is very legible for me, but of course that is a matter of taste. And all I get are the Address Book entries that match the search info I provided on the "Find People" window--usually a very short list. So I have a feeling I do not understand what you want.
P.S. Unless someone else provides a better answer, perhaps restate what you want to accomplish.

What you have said above is correct, however instead of the results being the standard black type on a white background, I would like the text to be displayed or highlighted in Colour which would make it easier to see.
Do you know how to do this.

To copy an address that's already in your address bar, highlight it with your mouse, then right click on it and choose copy.

Sparks, in each forum there's a button that says new thread both at the top left and bottom left of the list of subjects. Click on it and your in. ;)
