    SP2 error

The core system file (kernal) used to start this computer is not a microsoft windows file. The service pack will not be installed. For more imformation, see knowledge base article Q327101

Apparently its because you use stylexp or other program for changing boot screens. Remove your boot screen manager, make sure you revert to standard bootscreen before installing SP2.

Well, your core system files are no longer MS files, and unless they are SP2 won't install.

You should completely uninstall that software (I'd never use software that replaces MS system files  ), and if that won't work, you could try a repair install.

But its a very useful program

But TuneUp Utilites 2006 is a awsome program that improves a computer such as registery defragmentationa and other many great problems.

Well, fine... ask them what to do then... and good luck running a system without SP2. SP1 will soon no longer be supported (meaning no security fixes for SP1).
