I have had to reinstall (Repair)XP and now when I scroll it is not a smooth scroll as previous.

It scrolls in a very wavy motion which is very distracting.

I have searched the posts on this subject and followed the advice from here and website posts in relation to tick/untick smooth scrolling in Control Panel/Internet Properties/Advanced but none of this has fixed the problem.

Any suggestions other than that. I am using "wireless" keyboard and mouse.
    Batteries OK on both.

    Thanks
    Roy

Do you have a USB or PS/2 keyboard/mouse to test if the problem is with the wireless units? Could you be receiving interference from some device causing problems with the wireless setup? What is your CPU usage and Commit Charge in Task Manager when this occurs? Are there any issues in Device Manager?

I have been clean and sober for 4 years, 4 months and 15 days. Now if only I could quit the cigarettes.

Being a teetotaller I was permitted to carry out the necessary action......I was a driver short so got one and drove off OK.

    All OK now...thanks.
