WindowsUpdate not working in XP install

New XP Install - Everything works fine except Update. I get to the WindowsUpdate web page, it starts to examine my system but then get error message 0x8024001D, sometimes 0x80070020.

I have activated XP, assume the ActiveX program is working, anything else I could try? No reply from Microsoft.

Anyideas would be appreciate
