Install Server not responding

I've been trying to install the proofing tools for office 2003 on Windows xp. However, when i attempt this I only get as far as 'preparing to install' This message stays on the screen for a while before it eventually comes up with 'install sever not responding'. Any ideas? None of the discs are copies, by the way.

 

Time for me to go to work, but search for "Windows Installer" downloads at the KB. You should find a fairly recent version is available.

I think version 3.1 v2 is the latest.

It takes magic words for the KB to find what you're looking for somtimes. Abraa Cadabra does not always work
