trendmicro free scan?

Anyone else have problems with the free scan now? I can't seem to get it to "close" or "finish ".

I will run it and it will give me results, I choose the "clean now" option and it runs, then it comes back to the same screen...it never gets past it.

Any ideas?

It's like it freezes or it removes some, and then it asks me again to press clean now, then it removes a few more (you know how it says howmany cookies you have, etc, in the top right corner). It never goes to zero??

The Trend scan needs unfettered access via ActiveX - have you tried putting the site into the trusted of IE?

I don't use IE, I use firefox. I tried running it last night, and it doesn't even start now. It says "done" in the bottom with a blank screen.

You can use the Europe website to run TrendMicro/Housecall/Firefox. You need to have Java installed/active on Firefox to launch Housecall scans.

 

I tried it with IE last night, and I got the same blank page. I have activex active/installed and java and everything.

It worked fine when they had that pop-up screen that did the search, but with the one they have now in the browser window, it is always screwy with mine.

I will try the europe page in firefox tonight.
