    Runtime error!

At the moment I can not access ANY Microsoft office application without getting the above error. The program then terminates. I can not even access OUTLOOK to read email.

I have scanned for 8 hours every conceiable spyware program including Adaware and spybot. Have run registry programs---- nothing has helped. What on earth do I need to do to fix this problem?

( I have seen similar problems BUT can not find the solutions. pls help someone from ' downunder'

Re-run the office installer and do a repair, that may fix the problem. Or you might have to backup your PST file (Outlook file) then uninstall office and reinstall.

    Thanks for helping

Only reference is to the program being terminated- this applies to Word, Excel, Outlook ect- and is:

    Program: C:\Profram Files\Microsoft Office\ Office10\WINWORD.EXE ( or excel or outlook)
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the apllication's support team for more information

I am getting so desperate that I am thinkig of reformatting the hard disk- do you think this is the way to go?

I solved my problem- It was ADOBE Acrobat 7.0 Professional that caused the problem with MS Office and XP. I ran the repair feature on Adobe and this solved the problem. Still not sure why?

Sanpat--Thanks for posting with the fix. Certainly not one that I would have thought of, but it should help others. Had you installed either Adobe or Office only recently or have they been compatible for some time?
