when i click on any of my playlists from #1-22 i get a box that says wmp cannot play the file. wants to know if the file is on another computer, if i am connected to the network,if i typed the path correctly and ends up saying that the server might not be available. the error is c00d1197. i went to microsoft and looked, and came back here. im not streaming or anything like that. i am trying to play a playlist that i burnt a cd from, thats all. and i see no need for me to be connected to the network??

the really strange thing about it is that playlists from #23-38 do not get the error, so it seems selective. but playing the early playlists(1-22) i can do that by going into my music and they play very nicely. so i am not without music, but it is worriesome.

its adell xpmedia center 2002 wmp10(10.00.00.4019) cable internet,1care,adaware, spybot and all that good stuff.

any ideas as to what is going on,and how to maybe get things back to how they are supposed to be, i click on a playlist and it plays.

    wmp10 now plays all playlists

i went into music library and all my playlists were back in wmp10's library, and when i clicked on one of the error getting list (errorc00d1197) they played! no error all play lists are playing now.

you know something? this is about as confusing as it not playing the lists and removing them from wmp10 library(individual songs always played, and were not removed). why? was because i tried to kill music match or yahoo music match as it is now?

its just to weird, im going to just hope it keeps on working right.
thanks to all that read the first post.:)
