HI people! It's been a while since I've been around, but I did something stupid and need your help once more. I deleted a whole drive and am using the programs in this thread, but there are files that I need that these programs don't find, such as DVD folders and text files. Is there a program you can guide me to that can do a full drive recovery?

Thanks in advance since I'm sure this is the place to find out.

I used a really great program once that does a full recovery. It costs money (about $20 i think ) but does a pretty good job. It's called RecoverMyFiles. As with anything as intensive as that it takes a while though. When I ran it on my 200G drive I think it took a little but over 12 hours. But it works really well. Didn't recover everything, but it came pretty close.

Neil, I have split your post to a separate thread, as its a separate issue.

I have used a couple of data recovery programs and one in particular did the trick everytime. It's called on-track easy recovery. Don't know if you tried it yet but it does cost money. Not sure how much exactly, you can google it to find out. Another software is pc inspector file recovery http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/UK/welcome.htm it's freeware and seems promising. I haven't had a chance to use it but it's worth a shot. Let me know how it works!

I tried Recovermyfiles and it found most of the drive, but everything is 1mb in size. Any idea how I change the options to have it find the actual sizes?
