I have downloaded these files (Music clips) before and now I get this message, An internal application error has occured. I tried different version, 9 I believe with no difference. The only think I can think of that I did in the kast few days was a new anti-virus AVG 7.1 but I shut it off and it didn't help. A couple weeks ago I put in a new video card and more ddr ram but I can't see what that would have to do with the downloads, Anyone with a suggestion. Dean:confused:

I would completely uninstall Media Player version 9. Make sure the Media Player folder in your program files is empty. (leave the empty folder there). Reinstall Media Player 10. Also download all the latest codecs from Microsoft and if you do any video with Media Player 10 download all the codecs from DIVX.

Give this a try and lets see what happens

same problem, but program files folder won't empty

    hi,
I've got a similar problem, media player 10 won't install, even when I uninstalled media player 9 (configuration screen, windows parts...) when I look at the program files folder there are still a couple of things in there, a few dll files a few folders, etc. i tried removing them, but couldn't with two. after, when I took another look at the folder, all of those files were there again.
    what should I do now?

Okay, this isnt really a solution to Your problem, but You might consider using other software like winamp for audio and media player classic or vlc or zoomplayer for videos. Not that the windows tools are bad, but I like these better.
