Is there a way to customize your Windows Toolbar (In the bottom right of the screen, next to the clock) so you can choose what icons are in it?

Right click on the taskbar and choose properties. On the "taskbar" tab click the customize button. You can change things there. Set them the way you want.

Also, many of them you can probably get rid of all together if you want by opening the program they're associated with and looking in the options. Often there's a place there that you can get rid of it. One example.... Musicmatch Jukebox has an option that says "Enable Musicmatch Quickplay in the system tray ". If it's checked, there'll be a MM icon in the tray. Uncheck it and it'll go away.
