Where can I find the original NAV removal utility RNAV.EXE (not rnav2003) ? RNAV.EXE is no longer on Symantec's website but it is more thorough than the revised version. Thanks.

    ISO original RNAVE.EXE - not rnav2003

Mr. Charles: Thanks. Unfortunately, auditmypc describes the original program but does not (as far as I can see) have a copy of or link to it. Agreed that there are numerous references in Google, but again I could not find the actual .exe file. Please leave this ISO up for awhile - if anyone has the actual RNAV.EXE, I would appreciate a Reply.

Will do - come back in a few days and bump the thread.

I was searching while you were posting - I'll keep looking.

Having just removed NAV2005 from my system, I sympathize :) Went ok though.

    Regards - Charles

Hi glnz2: I have a copy of the rnav2003.exe removal tool. Found it on an old backup CD. If you will PM me with your e-mail address I will send it to you.

I have rnav removal utility on a zip disk from about 2000 or 2001. I am currently out of town & can retrieve it next week. Send me a PM here if I forget.

    ISO original RNAV.exe - not rnav2003

Thanks, Mr. JohnB. Unfortunately, I'm looking for the original RNAV.EXE that Symantec used to have on its website, not the current rnav2003.exe. Might you still have the original rnav.exe?

Sorry about that, I misread your post. Sent you a PM, I will look to see if I have rnav.exe.

What is it you are trying to do? Remove an older version of NAV? If you cannot find a copy of rnav.exe you could do a manual removal. Takes a while but it is probably worth it in the end. Even with the removal tool, Norton leaves lots of "junk" behind and you would be advised to go through the manual removal process anyways.
