    hi,

whenever i try to download a file that is more than 10 mb, it doesn't execute.

i have downloaded mozilla, acrobat reader, avg setup and avast setup etc. the download is successful, but when i try to install, some error or other pops up or i get the 'file is corrupt, download again' message. but small files like flash player etc work.

    am at my wits' end.

    thanks in advance.

    urvi

Is it dsl or cable (LAN) connection ?

Is the problem with all the files (like mp3,exe,zip etc.) or with exe only ?

Check with your operator if he has some sort of anti virus protection enabled on his server or if there are excessive packet loss at your end.

    urvikapoor--Everett makes several suggestions here

I have understood that you can download large files with file extensions other than .exe successfully, so it is not a matter that your ISP prevents large downloads or breaks the connection.
