    Whiskeyman,

I went back to skool :D a few years ago (I was in my late 40's at the time), if you can take any night classes you will find quite a few other non-teens. I took a couple of classes during the day and the students were younger, but I loved every minute of it. As my schedule got more conflicted I took some classes over the internet (virtual classes), those were very convenient. My only advice is... if you got the time, do it. You won't regret it. I'm trying to find more time to take more classes, but right now it's not possible. Enjoy.

I have lots of time. The community college has a satellite school just down the road from me. The biggest problem is trying to get my surgeons to schedule the work they need to finish. Taking courses during the day with all of the kids isn't a problem. Trying to figure out the courses they offer and which would be beneficial has me scratching my head. I figure that I should start with the basic A+ certification and MSCE/Security then go with either Network+ or CCNA.

    My two cents worth

I was interested in trying Linux and I downloaded several different versions. I think one of them would boot up from the CD I created. All of these Linuxs' had this problem. I have a wireless system in my house and the computer on which I wanted Linux has a USB adapter to make the wireless connection. No Linux would recognize the adapter so I could not get to the internet. Do any of you know if the current Linuxs will identify my wireless USB adapter?
