Out of curiosity, I did an online scan on Zone Labs and they found this on my computer:
Kazaa Lite goop 28 - Adware
    RegistryKey - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Kazaa\
    RegistryKey - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Kazaa\
    P2P-Worm.Win32.Logpole.c - Trojan
    RegistryKey - HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software
I did a AVG,Spybot,Ad-aware scan but they found nothing. I will be most grateful if someone can tell me how to remove these. Can I just delete them in the registry key? Do I need to post a HJT? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello L Driver,

    Don't delete anything.

Do post a HJT log here. Run it from a folder of its own, such as C:\HijackThis or in the \Program Files\HighjackThis.

Download and scan with Ewido http://www.ewido.net/en/

Install as a scanner only: under "Additional Options ", uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu ".

Before using it, update it, scan in safemode - tap the F8 key on bootup.

Post anything it finds here, may need more than one post for it.

    Regards - Charles

Your HJT scan is incomplete - please run hijackthis.exe again, select 'Do a System Scan and save a logfile' and post it here in it's entirety.

Your log appears to be clean, but I notice that you are running 2 antivirus programs - AVG Free and AhnLabs Anti-Virus. It is not recommended to run more than one antivirus program due to the possibility of conflicts.

I am not familiar with AhnLabs Anti-Virus and would recommend that you run AVG only.

I suggest you export the registry keys to a known location, say My Documents - they will save as a .reg file and can be merged back into the registry if required by double clicking on the .reg file - and the delete the registry entries. Probably a leftover from an incomplete cleaning operation.

Hi there, Peter, I did as instructed and deleted the registry keys. Just did a Zone Labs scan and the result was "The Zone Labs security scanner has found no spyware on your computer." Now I can have a piece of mind when surfing the web. I have not use kazaa a long time already and now I have remove it from my computer. Thank you for your time and wish you all the best. :D :)
