Printer folder not responding

hi all,
i have a problem in my windows 98. i am trying to access the Printers folder in control panel. each time i double click it, it stops responding. i can't even print anymore. is there anyone who can help?

Why do you need to access that folder?

Do you have other problems with your computer? Virus?

Is it a USB printer or parallel port printer?

i solved the problem.i went into safe mode and deleted the printer then re-installed it.
everything is working fine now.

 

Thanks for letting us know nadinea. I had just started surfing MS knowledgebase (surfing the KB... maybe I have just started a trend , although I doubt it will overtake other forms of surfing in the near future Maybe I'll just wax my board for a while)
