XP critical update causing havoc

    How about the Intel video controller on all Optiplex G260s received a critical update on the video driver causing all Desktops to go to 640 x 480 4 color! :D

    Had to disable automatic updates because when I rolled back the driver WU would reinstall it! :D

    Someone get on the horn and notify MS about this! :D
    I only had 35 desktops to deal with! :D

    Since you had to touch each machine anyway, instead of disabling WU did you try to hide that update to see if it would stop it from reinstalling first?
