Ms Net.Framework 2.0

Hi, I installed Microsoft Net.Framework 2.0, in the add and remove programs both are listed 1.1 and 2.0 do i have to keep both?

 

.NET framework 2.0 and 1.1 (and 1.0) work alongside each other. Apps are written using one or the other (as .NET 2.0 came out not so long ago, older apps use 1.1). Though many apps written using .NET 1.1 may be able to run under .NET 2.0 if .NET 1.1 is not installed, that is not always the case. So it depends on what apps you have. I have kept both on my PC because one app using .NET framework 1.1 will not work if only .NET 2.0 is installed.
