Just out of curiosity, I ran a free scan on my computer for possible driver updates this morning. The scan reported that 60% of my drivers are outdated (display adapters, IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers, mouse, modem, network adapters, Logitech microphone, and 6 USB controllers).
I am not aware of having any problems with my computer, but I am wondering if updating drivers is something that should be done regardless. I have no interest in stirring up a can of worms, so if driver updates are strictly optional, then I'm in no rush to go there.
    Any advice/suggestions?
    Thanks!

FWIW, I agree with Steve. If you aren't having any problems and aren't lacking some particular function for some device, leave the worms rest where they are.;)

rebecca--Sometimes the manufacturer's site will explain the purpose of a newer driver. Unless you have the problem being fixed or want the new feature offered, I agree to leave well enough alone.
