    Hi all,

Before I had to reinstall windows XP a while ago, I had my "SYSTEM PROPERTIES" page set up so it shows my picture instead of the MS logo. I also edited the part where it shows what you got in your computer. It is basically all on the front page of it.
I tried Search "system properties ", but it brings up all kinds of posts that have nothing to do with what I want.
Any one remembers the name of the file that I have to edit?
    Thanks
    Sven

    That would be:

    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\oeminfo.ini for the script

    and

    C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\oemlogo.bmp for the graphic.

Thanks, that is what I was looking for

    Sven

    This is strange,
I could not find these files in the system folder, so I run “search” , and it tells me file not found???

However, I can bring up system info.

Is there another file that will do that?

    Thanks
    Sven

Well, I tried to make my own oeminfo.ini in notepad and saved it in windows/system,
But something else is giving information to the system properties general tab page.

I get the info I typed, and some info from someplace else. How can I change that??
    Thanks
    Sven

You can't. Some system info is "hardwired" to be displayed there...
