Hi all, at the risk of being committed for heresy... I run an iMac, but my family now use my older machine (5 years old) which runs Windows 98./ Somehow they have managed to change the desktop so the Microsoft Office taskbar sits across the bottom of the screen (it used to be a little box shape). The problem is that the MS Office bar now appears and sits over the system task bar covering it whenever I mouse down to the system bar. That means I can't access the start menu, turn on my anti virus which seems to have turned itself off which it does occasionally or do things I want to do. I can't seem to get the MS bar to do anything, it won't open the applications and it won't budge. Any ideas would be gratefully received, I'm stuck. Many thanks for any advice.

    Loraine :)

Steve thanks for the response. As with all things mysterious...no sooner than I had posted this question in desperation, the toolbar has unlocked intself and is responding, is able to be right clicked, moved and modified! PC fairies at work...:) Thanks again.
