    Thank you.

I have downloaded and installed the debug power toy whatever.
    I downloaded the debugwiz

But my dump file I cannot find.
I have looked everywhere, including where the error message mentioned, and it is not to be found. And yes, I have my files and folders set up to show hidden files, so I should see it if it was there.

I am at a complete loss

    Thank you Aire,

I will bookmark that link so that if this happens again, I will know what to do.

Since I couldn't find the information I needed, I ran System Restore and took my computer back about 2 weeks. Then I went to Windows Live Safety Center (beta) and ran the full scan on my computer and it cleaned up my registry, got rid of unnecessary temp files, assured me I have no viruses or spyware (although I have an anti-virus running all the time, and use Windows Defender for spyware, plus Ad-aware, and Spybot S&D)

The computer has been running fine all day today, with no unexpected shutdowns and restarts.

I don't know what caused the problem, but I hope it is gone now.
