Can no use System Restore

    Got serious problem with windows XP home. Tried to use System Restore, but it not work -when I click on required date(any previous date), just shown WSH error alert message (something like 'compilation error'..)

    kenton--If Whiskeyman's suggestion and link does not help, please post the exact error message.
    Sometimes shutting off System Restore, rebooting and then turning it back on will set things right. The problem is that you will lose all prior Restore info.
    (If you want to try it right click on My Computer|Properties|System Restore tab|check "Turn Off System Restore" box|Apply|OK. On reboot, same place, check "Turn On System Restore ".

    well, it was caused by bad memory, I replaced memory, it looks system restore is not needed.
