You have downloaded the first public release of IE 7 so you can be assured that it is basically stable although naturally there are still some bugs in it. It should not cause you any major problems.

If you don't like it/don't want it anymore then you can uninstall it through Add/Remove Programs and return seamlessly to IE 6.

I have installed/uninstalled several of the earlier beta releases and this current release and have had no problems in returning to IE 6.

i downloaded, installed the ie7,got error reporting like i dont know what, uninstalled it(after i found it, had to use date last used) and now windows installer is driving me crazy trying to install something for jasc paint shop pro which i cant do. no cd (but dell is sending to me). only time windows installer does this is on start up or restart, or when i put the messengers on(windows and yahoo)
dont know if uninstalling ie7beta2 has anything to do with the way windows installer is acting but when i get the cds from dell i will let it install whatever so it will leave alone. but i do know that according to event viewer the ie7b2 had a lot of application hang and errors. all i was trying to do was a search on google.

    geez
