Is there a program or tool that can be carried on a flash drive to use on computers infected with trojans, viruses or spyware that does not require an internet connection?

    YES!
I have a 128 MB usb stick and on it I keep:

    1. ANY & ALL antispyware apps that do not require installation, such as those that can be downloaded and directly executed, like HijackThis, CWShredder, Winsock LSP Fix, etc.
    2. McAfee Stinger.
    3. A copy of my Adaware installation directory after updating it. Adaware will run from a pen drive without the need to install it first, just double click the Ad-Aware.exe file.
    4. Spybot Search & Destroy installation directory. Runs without installing it just like Adaware.
    5. Utilities from www.sysinternals.com like Autoruns, Process Explorer, TCPView, etc.
    6. Password recovery utilities.
    7. A few scripts (batch files & .cmd files) I made to quickly delete temp dirs & clean out unnecessary files, esp in dirs where spyware and viruses can hide their executables & installers.
    8. Portable Firefox web browser. This runs from a usb stick. necessary if I need web access on a system that is infected where Internet Explorer has been trashed. http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/browsers/portable_firefox

I should note that majority of pen drives will run & be auto detected and loaded by XP & win2k, but majority will need a driver cd to be used on older versions of windows like win98 & winME. So keep the driver cd or driver floppy with the pen drive in case need to work on an older system.
