bold desktop icon text?

    Hi,
    Is it possible to make the text on a desktop icon bold?

    thetoolman - Welcome to the Board :)

    Yes - right click a blank area of the Desktop > Properties > Display Properties > Appearance tab > Advanced button > Under Item scroll down and click on Icon and hit the B button.

    ok thanks, but is it possible to do it with just one icon?

    ok, is there any other way in which i can make one icon look different to the others?

    You can, of course, change the icon for one which stands out better - right click on the icon > Properties > Change Icon - look in system32\shell32.dll for a selection or create your own using an icon editor (Google for freeware)
