    Hi,
How can I add a new menu on the XP Classic style start bar? I can only create folders, not a menu.

    Any ideas?

You can add any folder to the taskbar by creating a new 'toolbar'. Right-click the taskbar, select Toolbars, then New Toolbar, then select the folder you want to turn into a toolbar. If you want several items in the new toolbar... create a folder and add 'shortcuts' to the programs that you want, then create the new toolbar. See attached image.

You could use your 'MyDocuments' folder and change the view to 'menu' instead of 'folder'. This can be done by right-clicking the taskbar, select 'properties', select 'StartMenu', then 'customize' then the 'Advanced' tab. Change the MyDocuments folder to 'display as a menu'.

I just realized you said 'classic' menu... you can still use the Documents folder, right-click the taskbar, select 'properties', select 'StartMenu', then the customize button. Then place a check by 'Expand My Documents'. HTH

I made a mistake.. i am using the Windows XP menu, not classic. Is it possible to add a new menu or am i stuck with the existing ones?
