Unzip the download. Then go Driver > Win 98 > Win98driver.exe - double click to run.

If after installing a driver and your USB device still does not work, you may also have to go into SetUp when you reboot and be sure the BIOS is set to enable USB.
    See Q15 here
    http://www.tenri.fi/muuta/usb_faq.htm#usb-q15
And there are some BIOS which do not have that setting. (You can check for USB Controllers in Device Manager.) But I hope, if you have a USB port that the PC maker put in an appropriate BIOS. :)

kenton--Yes, it should work that way. (Of course this has to be a driver specific to OTi6828 Flash Disk USB Device.)
If it does not work, go to Device Manager|right click on the Flash Disk entry|Properties. I am a little hazy about Win98 now, but I think you will get a screen (or a screen with a tab) for Drivers, which will have a button "Install New Driver ". When you click that, it should open a New Driver Wizard which at some point will ask where to find the driver. You then Browse to wherever you have the unzipped driver.exe file.
P.S. As mentioned, since your PC maker has given you a USB port, it is to be hoped the BIOS supports USB.

You need to go online to the vendor website for the flashdrive you have. I know most Sandisk flashdrives support Win98. The drivers for the sandisk fit on a floppy disk.

    Good luck.
