My XP home system locked during Internet Explorer... Whenever I try to restart it forces me into "GOBACK" by Norton because the system is UNSTABLE. I have tried to log on in safe mode, prompt level and normal, but every time I try, it allows me to put my password in,,, then automatically reboots...

I have not floppy drive, can't get to my BOIS and can't seem to do anything... Any ideas so I can get into my computer again?

    Hello mhbref,

Do you have a XP cd?

If so, put the cd into your ROM, shutdown and then bootup. For this to work, the ROM has to be the primary boot device.
