TB can't get mail?

I don't believe there is a way to disable "email scanning" by itself, at least I haven't found it yet?? It's "real-time - on email - on. "
It just takes a few minutes to d/l my email, then CA is back in full force, I can work my mail with no problem. That shouldn't cause problems, I hope?
I'm running behind a NAT/ROUTER, and according to GRC.COM/shields up, I'm in total stealth mode!!!! That's about as secure as one can be, right?
And NO, I'd never go on the net with an AV. I never open attachments from ANYONE!!!! After turning CA back on, I scan my inbox, just to extra "safe."
