    Help!!!!!

I have formatted my computer using Win XP. I had 2 hard drives when I formatted but after reloading windows my 2nd drive does not show up in windows explorer or my computer. When I boot up it lists the drive in the bios, it detects when I enter cmos & the device manager shows the drive installed. I tried to install the drive in a second computer that is running Windos XP with the exact same results. It is critical that I not lose the info on this disk. Can any one help me to get this drive to show up without wiping it out?????

What does Disk Management says about the drive? (Right click on My Computer -> Manage -> Disk Management)

Disk management shows the drive as being healthy and active but shows no drive letter. can I assign one without formatting?

Yes. Just right click on the drive & go to option 'Change Drives & Letters' options.
