OK, I have a server runnig Windows 2003 server that has 2 nics. One goes out to the cable modem for internet and the other goes to the router which is a wireless belking G. I disabled DHCP from the router so the clients get there addresses from my server (192.168.2.5). the router (gateway) has an ip address of 192.168.2.1. So when a client get a lease from my server there address looks like this

    (IP)192.168.2.13
    (sub-net)255.255.255.0
    (Gateway)192.168.2.1

I can ping everything and everyone but the internet doesnt share and when i try to join the client to my domain it wont do it. But when i change a clients gateway to my server IP (192.168.2.5) everything work great. So how to i configure it so that everything will work fine and dandy. I think it might be the router but im not sure. I might need to make it act like a switch maybe? Thanks

I didn't hear any reason to use 2 NICs so I'm asking why?

Your DHCP server is not directing your clients where to get DNS.

You can set your DHCP settings to get DNS server addresses as well. Also you should create a forwarder in your DNS to point to your router (192.168.2.1) or to point to your ISP's DNS servers. I would suggest pointing to your router, since it sounds like your DC has quite a load on it already.

How do you have everything plugged in?

Are you trying to use the Windows box as a router? If so is routing installed?
