can i or cant i connect 2 pc`s

    I have a packard bell pc with windows m.e installed....i have just aquired a "time "pc tower with windows xp installed on it.
    I want to change over to the xp but the monitor connections are different so is there a way i can just connect the two towers?
    IS THERE any way or anything i can do OR indeed can it be done at all???
    what sort of wires & connections are required if possible?(p.c virgin)

    Is the vga port on the me comp a pci card? if so, just remove the card and insert into the other one. If not, you can buy an adapter or just simply buy a video card that is compatible with your monitor.

    wallace69 - Welcome to the Board :)

    It sounds like you monitor has a D-sub connection and the tower a DVI connection - do they look like the plug shapes shown here ? - the DVI is on the left. If so all you need is an adaptor - pop down to your local PC store - they will know what you need. You can get them as a single moulding rather than this cabled arrangement.
