When I try to view a Video Tutorial in a NAPP Newsletter, it brings up IE6 window and then gives me a message box that says: "Click to run Active X control on this webpage" when I click OK, I get an Internet Error. The error refers to a ModName: mshtml.dll. It then closes the Internet Explorer window.
I have tried to re-adjust my Active X swiches under security with no success.
Is the error due to coding errors on the website? Or is IE missing a componenent?

Wes--The simplest solution might be to put this site into your Trusted Sites.
IE Tools|Internet Options|Security tab|Trusted Sites|Sites. (Uncheck the box "Require Server Verification..." if necessary.)
If this does not help, there are other solutions. Post back. And include the full error message.

    Jim,
I tried adding the site http://www.photoshopuser.com/ to trusted sites, but that didn't help.
When I click on the Active X OK button, I get att1.

When I click on "click here" I get att2.

If I go to their newsletter page, I can sign in and run the video tutorials with no problems.

Do you have some other ideas?

Wes--There are lots of possibilities. Some are here
    http://www.google.com/search?source...ror+AppName:+iexplore.exe+ModName:+mshtml.dll

You could also look into Event Viewer to see if it (or the link it usually provides) is of more help. Control Panel|Administrative Tools|Event Viewer. Probably click the System option.
And did you "Click Here" on the second attachment?
I could not figure out which tutorial you had tried to access, so I could not test the problem you mention. Maybe I would have to be a member of NAPP anyway. And if this is a membership site, perhaps they would have technical support to help you?
